The legal business of selling marijuana in the US is booming. Total sales exceed $13 billion in 2019. A total of 35 states have legalized marijuana for federal use. This course will address Federal and State Tax impacts associated with legalized marijuana. We'll examine the legality of selling marijuana, the current regulatory restrictions in place and various tax regimes in connection with this industry.
